Bruce has been a staff photographer for The Gazette since 1988. Before that, he was a staff photoographer at The Saratogian from 1982-88, chief photographer at The Recorder in Amsterdam from 1980-82 and began his career at the Courier-Standard-Enterprise, a weekly in Fort Plain, working there from 1972-78. He is a 1972 graduate of SUNY Morrisville and a combat veteran of the Vietnam War.
