Bobbi began her service to the Daily Gazette as an assistant librarian in 1996, helping to create and maintain the archives as well as providing research support for the reporters and editors. She has been the head librarian since January of 2006 and in that capacity, helped the paper through a number of archival upgrades and technical transitions. Before coming to the Gazette, Bobbi worked in the field of insurance and medical claims processing. She obtained an insurance brokers license in 1993 and a bachelor of arts degree with honors in anthropology and liberal studies from the SUNY College at Potsdam in 1982. She is a graduate of Schalmont High School and a lifelong area resident.
