Andrea is the Life and Arts editorial assistant in charge of the calendar pages you see in the Thursday "It's The Weekend" and Sunday "Lifestyles" sections. She also writes arts briefs and short stories. Andrea comes to the Gazette from the world of broadcast journalism where she worked as an editor, anchor, and reporter. Prior to re-locating, she worked in Wilmington, Del., where she was assistant program manager and morning co-anchor for a radio news station. She also free-lanced for Reuters' Wilmington bureau. She has received awards from the Associated Press, National Federation of Press Women and
National Association of Broadcasters.
