Someone has sent me a little booklet entitled “The Case for Easter,” and while I haven’t yet read it, I want to waste no time in expressing my gratitude.
It’s nice of strangers to concern themselves with my salvation, especially when I am so careless of it myself.
I go about my daily affairs giving not a moment’s thought to whether I might someday be whooshed up into the sky for an everlasting harp concert or possibly sent tumbling down to a chthonian netherworld to be barbecued for eternity, and now I have a booklet that will instruct me in these matters.
It says it presents “evidence for the Resurrection,” and I can’t wait to study that evidence. I hope it is more convincing than the evidence for Noah’s Ark, since I have studied that a little and have found it less than totally compelling.
I am open to anything.

I, like you, go about my daily business without concerning myself whether some act or thought will or will not affect my eligibility for whatever salvation might be. I am sure that whatever salvation is, if it is at all, it will be granted to those whose acts and thoughts are conscientiously right and respectful of the rights of others. Acts or thoughts that are deliberately done with the intent to gain grace toward salvation are futile (because they are done for the selfish benefit of the doer, and not for the benefit of another).

The Resurrection? Noah's Ark? The Halocaust? Maybe they are just myths? Hey I wasn't born until 1974. Oh well I guess I'll just have to live by faith?

To corhilator: The Holocaust has eye witnesses and survivors still alive today. The ovens are still there, the mass graves. The World Court investigated and prosecuted many who were responsible for this travesty. For the Resurrection and Noah's Ark, you'll need your faith.

To sjebn: Hey I apologize! I spelled Holocaust wrong!

To sbjen: Oh one more thing: Did you know that there were over 500 eyewitness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ? All of whom are now dead! In 100 years from now the holocaust survivors will be too! Jesus said "I AM the resurrection and the life he that believes in me will live even if he dies!" In 1000 years no one is going to care about the holocaust! You go ahead and cling to your despairing facts of yesterday and I will look forward with hope and faith for tomorrow!

Hey Carl: I was just thinking if you don't read my blogs that would be a sin. Anyway I love when you disrespect Christians! I am not offended at all. As a mattter of fact it just gives me more ammo! Thanks a lot GOD-Bless!
P.S. I never run out of comments! It's almost as if I have an Eternal Source to draw from!
