In today's environment of 400 TV channels, computers and other free time gobbling electronics, it is an absolute must. Every opportunity to introduce children and interest children to outdoor activities...at any age...should be pursued, encouraged and made as accessible and attractive as possible.
People of all ages need to get off their butts and keep moving, starting them as young as possible only encourages lifelong participation.

Kids today need all the exercise and fresh air they can get. Yes, it's important for school children to get some fresh air and physical activity they can get. They are stuck in the house to much for there own good.

How about having a poll about the firing of Schenectady City Budget Analyst Jason Cuthbert....and the Deal the City made with the County with the Sales Tax....this is a ridiculous poll to have at such a crucial time in the City of Schenectady's history.
