What would be the point? He hasn't a chance of winning on a third party line. If he's bitter and wants to spoil the election, then he should do that.

Why doesn't he do what most losing candidates do?...graciously congratulate the winner and step aside for the good of the party.

Some of my friends told me they believe Kathy-M will be voting to raise the sales tax to 8 percent to keep up with surrounding tax districts. Roy was adamant about keeping it at 7 percent.

Maybe, that's what really did him in w/the money-men. The one percent raise will close a lot of budget gaps which were created by the Global Foundries give-aways. It's plausible and worth some thought.
