Want to move a holiday around to make for long weekends?

Try Christmas.

We move the "birthdays" of all sorts where we can verify the day, yes we remain fixed on Jesus' birthday being celebrated December 25, no matter what. We don't even know his birthdate!

Add to that the fact that we move his day of death around, why not the birth too?

Make Christmas a 3 day weekend.
