How about some serious poll questions that could help direct our local tax dollars like should the City Council really add a 3rd or 4th Assistant police chief ? What exactly will these higher paid cops be doing that they already are not doing???
Citizens need to focus on every single budget line item and what the Mayor and City Council are approving if we are going to ever get our city out of severe poverty.
Schenectady has become a bed of poverty from too high property taxes. People cannot survive with our tax dollars going to line the pockets of the police and public workers ! Pay attention ! Attend City Council meetings ! Speak up ! Make the Council CUT BACK on city cars, high salaries and say NO TO UNEEDED Assistant Police jobs! Call or write the Council members !
