Roger Hull is 1000% correct, the city is on a financial cliff without anyone there to help out,

If you clean up the crime, drugs, prostitution, gangs, littering, graffiti, and loud music you will bring in a better class of people that are homeowners and the tax base will increase and the city will live happily ever after..... Well at least until the liberal democrats take over again. Vote ALL incumbents out of office in both election and watch the whole country improve.

Todays Gazette..B1...top page. Seems like Hull is backpedaling and is trying to say the City made out with Union's charity. Charity??? Hurt all of us when tax base goes down. Thanks Mr. Hull.

Not as much as a high crime area that keeps pparents from sending their kids to Union. Union students spend more money and help the economy much more than those houses did.

Not as much as the special interest groups who back the hacks in power that give them Big Ticket Lifetime Pensions and Benefits...And none of them live here to put back into the tax rolls...that I think is not only hurting us but KILLING US! You can not continue supporting this death sentence in public service patronage...The taxpayer can not support Public Sector Welfare anymore. 20 years is way too long to keep giving raises and pensions to.
