It's more than creepy. It's sick. They're memorializing a killer. That's all he was: a murderer. He should be lost in the annals of history, like the majority of all other killers. There's NO reason to deify him by auctioning his possessions. If you want to HELP the victims, you start a benefit fund and ask people to donate, you don't turn the man who killed their family members into a legend!

I was surprised to see on TV that even his driver license was up for sale. I thought that it was illegal to possess someone else's license. Why hasn't it simply been forfeited to DMV? Will the state get any proceeds (other than sales tax) from this sale?
I've got to agree w/ Wordwiz about not turning the man into a legend.

No, Dispose of these possessions in an incinerator. Bulldoze his shack in the Rockies and leave no trace of him behind other than him having an inmate number in a federal prison somewhere. Stop deifying criminals.
