For al Qaeda to be successful the people at the top have to have a degree of intelligence to run the organization, be smart enough to handle the huge amounts of money necessary, and even capable of manipulating an admittedly crazy bunch of religious zealots.
bin Laden did all that extremely well. The world is a bit safer now because he is gone...but the core elements remain, the money, the hatred and many millions of crazy religious lemmings are still bubbling at the surface.
Whether a potentially charismatic bin Laden like leader, capable of holding al Qaeda together is out there remains to be seen.

al Queda is an emotional based organization that feeds off the propaganda of it's leadership. By cutting the head off the snake we at the very least have limited the face of evil. now we must focus on the second in comand let our boy's finish the job.

Not until Israel is safe from attacks from all nations...
