Because teens are not responsible enough to understand and realize the true dangers of excessive exposure to tanning.

(God knows we should have laws governing certain individuals from pro-creating, but that is another argument for another day...)
I'm not sure about legislating parenting,
but I do believe the child should have express parental permission for tanning and many other things too easily available to young teens.
My roof my rules. Simple, easy to understand, easy to follow.

Isn't looking out for teenagers what they have PARENTS FOR!!!! The State needs to work on passing laws that effect ALL the people (like a tax cap) and leave parenting to parents.

They did pass a new Vegetable for NYS. That's hard work, isn't it? Should be up to parents. If they care to be parents rather than baby factories.

The more I think about these stupid ideas, the more I think people should be given an IQ test in order to be able to vote....

...and more importantly, they should be given an IQ test AND a psychiatric exam before being allowed to have children.

....come to think about it...Legislators should be given both too.

The teenagers are getting the money for the tanning salon either from their parents or from their own jobs. I suspect in most cases, it is the former. If their parents don't care, why should I?
