Japan is a country in an area KNOWN to be likely to have a large scale earthquake/tsunami. Much of the US is NOT in an area like that. If it's shown that our area is safe, then I'm all for it.

Worked on 9 mile 2 back in early 80's a NUC plant. Its doing its job & been doing it now for close to 30 yrs. With anything there is risk. Think of the jobs & the local economy & prosperity it would make. Build them & they will come.

we have been in the nuke business for 40 years, we have learned a lot . a new plant would be safer and much better. We have no choise, go nuke
