Bear in mind, this is The United States we're talking about here, where corporations are worshipped, and after you not being there for a week, they realize they can do without you.

There are so many wonderful places to spend a week in the Northeast. We love to go to Salem, Mass., but the lake regions of New Hampshire and Newport, RI are lovely destinations, as well. New York has so much to offer that staying close to home doesn't mean making a sacrifice. I heart NY!
