If Bruno did something illegal, he has to pay for it, however, what's good for one is good for all. I certainly hope they're checking into what some of the others are doing, as well.

It seems there are two justice systems, one for the rich, powerful and famous and another for the rest of us. It becomes discouraging seeing so many miscreants beating the rap.

New York is loaded with bums like Bruno. Take a look at Albany if you need proof.

The fact that Bruno still claims he did nothing wrong is reason enough to give him a harsher sentence than he got. He's still being protected by his crooked friends, who are keeping the lying thief out of jail pending his appeal. I agree with harz4: if I stole millions of dollars from the taxpayers, I certainly wouldn't be out living my life, I'd be rotting in a federal pen. I also agree with dkelander, in that all the corrupt pols should face similar prosecution. However, unlike what a couple of Bruno's supporters claim, he shouldn't get away with anything simply because there are others like him who haven't been caught.

"Uncle Joe" is still living a fantasy. I think 2 years is not enough, but, if he ever has a cell door locked behind him, it's going to shake him up pretty good. He still won't accept his guilt because he's been floating down that Egytian river (denial) too long. All the people who love hime are on the same raft - they don't see how he was using them all these years. I'll bet Sheldon Silver is thinking "thank God, they didn't catch me first"!
