I own a Toyota and love it! (It's not part of the recall). And I was just about ready to start looking for a new Toyota when this massive recall hit the news. It's not so much the problem with the gas pedal as how Toyota handled it by trying to cover it up. They must have known about the problem... don't they test their vehicles??? My next car will be a Honda.

I'm with nygirl, but I would buy another Toyota tomorrow. I can't imagine that a US auto company would have reacted any different. But I am a tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing Prius owner who voted for Obama.
