If you wish to truly find out why Mexicans cross the border into the U.S., I urge you to read Jimmy Breslin's book, The Short Sweet Dream of Eduardo Gutierrez. It's the true story of a young Mexican who seeks a better life in the U.S. The back-story is the life he leaves behind. It will leave you with a better understanding of why they risk life and limb to come here.

I don't care where you come from or what your story is. If you want to come to America for a better life then become an American citizen.

Why are people having so much problem with the word "illegal"? It means against the law. Deal with it. If people want to come here to work, great! Just do it legally.
