We stand to benefit about as much from fighting in Iraq, or Afghanistan, as we did in Vietnam.

So, the war-hawks want more troops? A guy came into my shop and said we should bring back the DRAFT -- NO DEFERMENTS! He said we should let THEIR KIDS fight and die for THEIR cause and that we citizens (yes us) allowed this post 9-11 thing go on WORSE than Vietnam. He went on to say that we didn't have 150,000 contractors (paid mercenaries) there, did we? I dunno.

My question is: Where the heck is Bib Laden? Ha-ha-ha. This guy says we've all been duped. Maybe we have. Give me a break. This fellow also claims that the WAR caused the recession. He really got me thinking.

Why are we there, anyway?
I forgot.

No, by all means surrender there and everywhere. Why should we look out for our interests now that the Community Organizer in Chief is calling the shots? Betray our national sovereignty for a few more TV appearances and healthcare for illegal aliens and drive by abortions.

There's nobody to surrender TO.
Please, share with the class, in what way is invading Iraq, "protecting our interests"?

If you are truly stupid enough to use that "fight them over there, so we don't have to fight them over here" nonsense, go sit in the corner.
Adults are talking.

The health care bill specifically excludes illegal aliens.

"Drive by abortions"? Turn off Fox, and get a grip on reality. Your mind is infected.

I think we should do what was suggested all during the Vietnam War... declare a victory and pull our troops out! Simple as that. Like children on a playground... I won, I won, now I'm going home! War is stupid! Stop the killing! Bring our soldiers home and let these 3rd world countries fight it out amongst themselves!

Foxheads. They are so predictable.
They've been conned. We've been conned.

Hey AdirondackAl --
Answer us this: What happened to WTC#7? AND-- WHERE IS THE MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN THE WORLD-- Bin Laden? Did you forget? I didn't. Every time I ask that question I get no answer. Why is that?

Now, try to answer in your own words.
Key phrase: IN YOUR OWN WORDS.
Then say: I dunno.

Go to FOX News and ask them.
They will say: We dunno.

So -- let's find something else for which the guvmint can con us --
HEALTH CARE!

Here we go, again.
It's all just smoke-n-mirrors, folks. Distractions.
While we, the ants, all argue and fight amongst ourselves--
the grasshoppers play.

They are all playing us for fools.

And fools we are.
Idiocracy.

Bush used 9/11 as an excuse to finish the war his father started, not to get the guy who planned/carried out the slaughter of Americans on 9/11. We need to get the guy who DID slaughter the Americans before we start pulling troops back.

We can never win in Afghanistan as we don't know who the bad guys are. Russia could not do it in the 12 years they were there. The only way to win there is to Nuke the whole damn country which might not be a bad idea otherwise get out.
