I come from a fiscal conservative point of view that is no where in politics today. However much I disagree with our new President as I did with our old, I hope that our economy improves and Obama becomes a good president. I just hope his socialist views are not promoted.

What news are you listening to? The media will never let Obama fail. It will still be Bush's fault.

I am EXTREMELY hopeful as a citizen with PRESIDENT OBAMA as our leader. Let's just say, for instance, he fails as president, HOW MUCH WORSE CAN HE DO THAN BUSH???

He could do MUCH worse. We had a very good economy for 6 1/2 years of Bush's presidency. There have been 22 terrorist attempts on our nation stopped stopped since 9/11. We have fought terorism in tow foreign countries at the same time with by far the lowest loss of toops of any sustained war in history. Trust me, Obama could and probably will, do much, much worse.

We had such a good economy for the first part of Bush's term thanks to forward thinking by Bill Clinton... but it could only last so long before Bush's policies and out of control spending caught up to reality.
