A special election for this Senate seat to complete this term is a waste of money. In this economy it's just another expense we can't afford! Spending what little money our state has on an extra election seems ridiculous when school budgets are being cut, unemployment is so high etc...? Let the Governor appoint someone, he has done a good job so far and appears to be a very fair man. Then give the people their right to choose at the next election.
