We may be lazy and out of shape, but at least we didn't get beat by the Orioles, Shaq.

Sports are wonderful for those who do them, but for the sedentary losers who lounge around, swilling beer after beer, they are a waste of time and a distraction that keeps their fan(atics), who bill and coo about 'their team,' occupied.

In addition to joining the ranks of the obese and out of shape, their preoccupation with watching sports prevents Americans from paying attention to what is important. From the school kids who know the statistics of scores of players but can't succeed in school, to our President, who should be focusing his energies on fixing our economy instead of playing at being 'cool' with the NCAA brackets, they could be utilizing that time to further themselves, their education, careers and even the State of the Nation.

To follow a team's season means investing at least 240 hours. That's equal to SIX WEEKS of work.

Time that could be used to advance their education, grasp how our politicians are manipulating their lives, start a business or learn enough history to understand that it is impossible to tax a nation to prosperity and printing money will lead to inflation that will make savings and investments worthless.

So the answer to the poll question, regardless of grossly inflated salaries, 'which team has the best chance of winning the World Series' should be "Who cares?"

Americans have more important issues to deal with.

Barack doesn't have to "play at being cool." He is cool. And he walks the walk, being a basketball player himself.
Of course "Americans have more important issues to deal with." But all work and no play make Rick a dull boy.

Barac is cool alright, he's a cool Socialist that has us in more debt than our grandchildrens grandchildren can pay. The only walk Obama should walk is back to Chicago so he can take credit for more things he had nothing to do with. By the way, I wonder why he refuses to produce his so called birth certificate.
