To be strong for my children by setting an example by standing up to my abusive husband. He doesn't hit anymore but the verbal and emotional abuse it worst.I will not continue to allow this behavior anymore.I intend to be happy like God intended me to be.Happy new year.

Palmtree: Good for you! Verbal and emotional abuse is considered a form of Domestic Violence.

There are many groups in the Capital District to give support for women such as yourself. I wish I had names of some to share with you. I believe the YWCA has information about some.

If you can connect with one they will be there for you and help you better understand and deal with this horrible situation. My prayers will be with you this year that you will connect with this support network and get out of the situation you are in.

Thank you for the encouraging words schdy and thanks saratogasal for the Joel Olsteen video. It was confirmation about what I was feeling. I had the most terrible childhood and still going through hurt. He spoke the words I needed to hear.Thank you all

I will be training harder than ever. everyone should be training harder and don't worry about the economy there is nothing you can about that so at least take care of yourself and don't be lazy like you were in 2008 and you know who you are!!!!!!!!!!!
