I'm surprised at how President Bush is labeled stupid, backward and __________(fill in the blank), yet he is responsible for everything that is horrible. He's pretty talented to have such control.

I've noticed nothing about McCain's pick for VP, yet the Gazette fell over itself to publish Obama's pick. This survey is dated and the Gazette's lack of info is telling.

Anna, the Gazette polls are changed each Sunday morning and run for a full week ... As a matter of fact, this poll debuted on the site last Sunday, and a poll asking your opinion on McCain's choice will debut this Sunday.

As to our coverage of the selection, we have given the same coverage in our newspaper and on the Web site for each candidate. The bulk of the reporting was handled by The Associated Press, with one of our reporters writing a local reaction piece.
