Inside what used to be his office, county Treasurer Bill Cherry is pleased to find his Rolodex amid the mud and debris. At the height of the flood, water was chest deep in the office, which is on the ground floor of the building.
On Main Street in the village of Schoharie water is still being pumped from the basements of public buildings by CSG, a company that specializes in disaster response.
