Schenectady shooting investigation
A Schenectady police officer looks at a rear window damaged by a gun blast on Thursday. The shooting took place on Morris Avenue, but this Nissan Pathfinder ended up at the corner of Glenwood Boulevard and Union Street. A getaway car was found in Niskayuna.
A Schenectady County Sheriff's deputy and his canine partner run along Newport Avenue in Niskayuna Thursday afternoon trying to locate the shooters involved in firing earlier in the day in the city of Schenectady.
This car, with Vermont license plates, was founded abandoned at Hillcrest Village East. Police say they believe the car was involved in a shooting earlier in the day in the city of Schenectady.
