This elaborately decorated blanket, made in the late 1800s by Chilkat Indians, is one of the highlights of the new exhibit “Native Peoples: Northeast-Northwest,” at the Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield, Mass. Woven from cedar bark and the wool of mountain goats, the blanket was worn as clothing by men and women.
