Students from UAlbany’s class of 2016 and their families were welcomed by faculty and staff at UAlbany’s Move-In Day, in front of State Quad, a time-honored tradition on campus on Thursday morning.This academic year, UAlbany has doubled the number of on-campus living-learning communities from eight to 17 to meet the demand of students who seek a unique experience that connects classroom learning with residential life. More than 400 of these students representing these communities participated in team-building activities on Collins Circle on Move-In Day also. Brian Junquera moves belongings into the State Quad where he will be dormed this year.
