On weekend nights The Raindancer serves up endless plates of prime rib, lobster and seafood to diners from throughout the Capital Region, but on weekday afternoons the family-owned restaurant mostly caters to its regulars.
Business owners along Jay Street across from Schenectady City Hall are upset with city employees who they claim have been parking all day along the west side of Jay Street - and without putting money in the parking meters - despite orders from Mayor Brian U. Stratton to leave those spots for shoppers and use an employee parking lot one block away.
