Town of Florida Third Assistant Fire Chief Les Bramer pokes through hot spots burning from a log while putting out a brush fire Wednesday at a farm on Cemetery Road. The brush fire burned about three to five acres of farmland, according to Florida Fire Captain Duane Bramer. With dry conditions throughout the area raising the risk of fires, officials in Schoharie County have instituted a ban on outdoor burning.
