She also knows how to make key adjustments to her pace, surging at the seven-mile mark and eventually grabbing the lead with a mile to go en route to winning the women‘s division of the 35th annual Stockade-athon Sunday with a time of 53:58.6.

Tim Chichester, 22, used the hills to get the lead on the 27-year-old former University at Albany star late in the race, but Andy Allstadt found some hidden energy reserve to win for the second time, posting a 47:51.1 in the 35th annual Stockade-athon 15k.
