Schenectady man allegedly had switchblade

An automatic, spring-activated switchblade has a city man facing a felony weapons possession count, authorities said. Stephen J. Campana, 24, of State Street, faces one count of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony. He is accused of possessing the illegal knife just after 1:30 a.m. during a traffic stop on State Street. The charge was increased to a felony due to a prior criminal conviction, according to court papers.
