A city man was charged Thursday with firing bullets into a Mont Pleasant residence in June, wounding a man who was standing at the window, police said. Police Thursday morning arrested Jonathan Ortiz, 24, on charges including second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault. Ortiz is accused of firing a 9mm handgun repeatedly from the sidewalk into a Bridge Street house the evening of June 2, hitting a man identified in court papers as Michael Horton. ...
