Woman accused of stealing puppy in Oppenheim

A Dolgeville woman is charged with stealing a puppy from an acquaintance’s lawn. State police said Andrea M. Williams, 21, of 13 S. Main St., faces one count of petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She is accused of swiping the 3-month-old black Chi-puggle Tuesday afternoon while her male companion was inside the puppy owner’s home talking about an unrelated matter.
