Power out to 2,300 in Schenectady, Niskayuna

National Grid is looking for the cause of an outage that has left about 2,300 customers in Niskayuna and the north side of Schenectady without power tonight. A National Grid spokesman said three crews are patrolling in search of the cause of the outage, which, according to the utility's website, is affecting customers as far south as Union Street in Schenectady, as far north as Providence Avenue in Niskayuna, west to Wendell Avenue in Schenectady ...
