A New York City man and father of three was fatally shot late Monday in the Vale neighborhood, according to police and family. Danny Russell, 44, was gunned down on Catherine Street near Victory Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Family members said Russell was in Schenectady for the weekend to celebrate his niece’s birthday. The family even went to Lake George to spend time at the beach, brother Carlos Seebarran said. They returned earlier Monday evening. ...
