CDTA schedules hearings on alternate-payment plans

The Capital District Transportation Authority has scheduled four public hearings on its proposed smart-card and mobile-ticketing plans. The hearings are a legal requirement as the authority moves toward adopting prepayment policies made possible by a new fare-collection system installed on CDTA buses earlier this year.
