Richard DiCristofaro is in. So is Jim McDermott. And the Walker brothers — Steve, Jeff, Kevin and Dana. The guys are all former Daily Gazette paperboys and will return to their one-time morning jobs Wednesday, Oct. 1. I used to deliver the Gazette in 1957. My paper pickup was at Morrow Ave and Balltown Road. I attended Van Antwerp JR High at the time. Sorry - I'm living a long way from Niskayuna now.
-So I can't help with the fundraiser.
Big thrill for me was seeing Sputnik at 5:00 when in was going over Schenectady.
Skies were really clear then! As I recall Sputnik was causing a garage door to open.- a few people had automatic garage door openers then.
