Schenectady driver uncooperative, police say
SCHENECTADY A Schenectady man turned a routine traffic stop into multiple charges after not cooperation with authorities, State Police said.
Matthew Bermudez, 24, was stopped on I-890 in Schenectady for allegedly not wearing a seat belt, State Police said Saturday. According to authorities, Bermudez then refused to give the trooper his driver’s license, identify himself or exit the vehicle for further interview.
Bermudez was subsequently arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and misdemeanor obstructing governmental administration. He was identified by electronic fingerprinting, arraigned in Schenectady City Court and released.
