Schenectady man allegedly put knife to woman's throat

A man put a pocket knife to a woman’s throat and grabbed her neck, violating an order of protection late Thursday, authorities said. Craig S. Walker, 27, of Eighth Avenue, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, along with misdemeanor obstruction of breathing, assault and menacing.
