Vets honored at Schenectady Memorial Day

A group that has maintained a huge American flag in Veterans Park was awarded the city’s highest honor on Memorial Day. The Veterans of World War II, Korea and Vietnam were all named Patroons by Mayor Gary McCarthy at the start of Schenectady’s Memorial Day ceremony.
