MELVILLE, N.Y. — New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has been nominated for a second term by the state Democratic Party. Schneiderman won the endorsement Wednesday at the state Democratic Convention on Long Island. He faces John Cahill, a former top aide to former Gov. George Pataki, in the fall election.
