It took a big swing to separate No. 9 Guilderland from No. 8 Saratoga Springs on Tuesday.

That big swing started from the shoulder of Brandon Rathwell, who sent an 0-1 fastball from Blue Streaks starter Jack Herman over the right-field fence in the top of the seventh inning, giving the Dutchmen a 2-1 win in the first round of the Section II Class AA baseball tournament.
