California researcher to receive Albany Medical Center Prize

A California cell biologist will be awarded the Albany Medical Center Prize this week. Alexander Varshavsky, Ph.D., a professor at the California Institute of Technology, will receive the $500,000 Albany Medical Center Prize in Medicine and Biomedical Research on Wednesday at a ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn Albany Medical Center.
