Body of drowned Troy man recovered

The body of a Troy man was recovered Wednesday from the Mohawk River. The victim was located at the entrance to the intakes at the hydro dam located between Waterford and Cohoes, Waterford Public Safety Commission John Tanchak said. Fighting difficult currents, the Northside and Waterford fire departments recovered the body of 64-year-old James Arthur Nebraska, aka: James Arthur Frampton. An autopsy at Albany Medical Center determined drowning as the cause of death.
