Runaway cattle found in Bruswick
State police help corral 'feisty cattle'
BRUNSWICK Five runaway cattle were captured on Route 2 in the town of Grafton and safely returned to their owner, state police in Brunswick said Saturday.
State troopers corraled the “feisty cattle” into a nearby yard while trying to determine who owned them, police said.
The owner, Aaron Hogue, was found when a Rensselaer County dispatcher noticed a Facebook post by his family asking if anyone had seen their runaway cattle, police said.
Hogue was contacted, and he arrived at the scene. He returned his cattle safely to their home on the range, police said.
