Bowling official faces larceny charge

The treasurer of the Cobleskill Bowling League has been charged with stealing money from the league. Charles A. Bowen, 50, of Summit, was charged by state police with third-degree felony grand larceny. According to state police, the treasurer is accused of collecting $20,000 in fees from the 500 members of the league and diverting $10,000 for his personal use.
