Arrest made in Schenectady burglary, robbery

A woman broke into a city residence armed with a knife and handgun, authorities said. Belinda I. Ortiz, 34, of Lincoln Avenue, faces two counts each of first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, felonies. She is accused of breaking into a Steuben Street apartment just after 5 p.m. Sunday. She is then accused of taking cash, two gold necklaces and a cellphone from the victim, who was not injured.
