Authorities closed a portion of Liberty Street downtown for several hours Thursday morning and afternoon after a driver wedged his rental truck under the railroad bridge. The accident occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. between Broadway and Erie Boulevard, and resulted in minor structural damage to the bridge.
