Schenectady man charged in motor vehicle sale scam

Frederick Hollingshed, 47, of Schenectady, was arraigned Thursday in U.S. District Court in Albany on a 10-count indictment for alleged participation in a motor vehicle sales racket. Hollingshed, also known as Franklin Hollingshed, has been charged with wire fraud, misuse of a Social Security number and possession with intent to use or transfer false identification documents.
