Yankee One Dollar to close local stores

Yankee One Dollar is shutting down its entire chain of stores, including locations in Rotterdam Square Mall in Rotterdam and Crosstown Plaza in Schenectady. Chain Owner Keith Flike said the action is a “reflection of the times.” He estimated that the two local stores will be closed within six to eight weeks.
